The show plays in Manchester and Liverpool

Casting has been announced for one of the new UK revivals of Little Shop of Horrors, directed and choreographed by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, which will open at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester before transferring to Liverpool Playhouse.
Maisie Smith will play Audrey during the Manchester season, which runs from 25 September to 29 November 2026, while Jessie Elland will take over the role for the Liverpool season from 3 December 2026 to 9 January 2027.
The cast also includes Jed Berry as Seymour, Marcus Ayton as the voice of Audrey II, and Benjamin Yates as Orin Scrivello. Psalms-Nissi Myers-Reid will play Crystal, Gabrielle Davina Smith will play Ronnette, and Rio Maye will play Chiffon.
Michael Starke will appear at both venues as Mr Mushnik, while the ensemble will feature Ella Howlett, Joseph Peacock, Nathen Scott and Kai Cameron Jay.
The production is directed and choreographed by Ingrouille, whose previous work includes stage and screen projects across the UK. The creative team includes set and costume designer Morgan Large, musical supervisor and arranger Paul Schofield, lighting designer Rory Beaton, sound designer Kelsh Buckman Drage, and casting director Rob Kelly.
The revival marks two decades since the musical’s last West End run and coincides with the 40th anniversary of the 1986 film adaptation directed by Frank Oz. Little Shop of Horrors has music by Alan Menken, with book and lyrics by Howard Ashman.
The production is presented by Thomas Hopkins Productions, SAMS Entertainment and Haffner Wright Theatricals, in association with Hope Mill Theatre, by arrangement with Music Theatre International.
Tickets for both venues are now on sale.
