Lea Salonga announces UK concert tour

The musical theatre actress won a Tony for her role in ”Miss Saigon”

Lea Salonga, the original Kim from Miss Saigon, is to head out on a UK tour in 2019.

The actress won a Tony and Olivier Award for her role in the musical and received critical acclaim for her turn as Eponine in Les Miserables. Her first ever UK tour will include a show at the London Palladium on 27 February.

Salonga's previous credits include the 25th anniversary production of Miss Saigon and she voiced Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and Fa Mulan in Mulan. She is a judge on the Phillippines version of The Voice and has sold 19 million albums worldwide.

Other cities on Salonga's UK tour are Manchester (26 Feb), Birmingham (1 March) and Cardiff (4 March). Tickets for the show go on sale on 14 September.
