Complete casting has been announced for Get Down Tonight – The Official KC and the Sunshine Band Musical, which is scheduled to run at the Charing Cross Theatre in London from 19 September to 15 November 2025.

The musical is based on the early life of Harry Wayne Casey, founder of KC and the Sunshine Band, set in 1970s Miami and following four friends during the early years of Casey’s career. It features more than 20 songs from their back catalogue, including “Give It Up”, “That’s The Way (I Like It)” and “Get Down Tonight.”

KC and the Sunshine Band sold over 100 million records worldwide. The band achieved five number-one singles on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, four UK Top 10 singles, and a Grammy Award as part of the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack.

The production, developed with Casey, features music and lyrics by Casey and a book by J. F. Lawton (Pretty Woman). It will be directed and choreographed by Lisa Stevens.

The cast includes Ross Harmon (Shucked) as Harry Wayne Casey (KC), alongside Adam Taylor (Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club) as Orly, Paige Fenlon (Pretty Woman) as Dee and Annabelle Terry (Scissorhandz) as Gina. Fenlon and Terry are both reprising their roles from the show’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe run in 2024.

Making up the ensemble are Aaron Archer (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat), Eve Drysdale (Fame the Musical), Rachael Kendall Brown (Pretty Woman) and Finley Oliver, marking his professional debut.

Get Down Tonight was previously staged under the title Who Do Ya Love? in Edinburgh. It has been reworked into a 90-minute format without an interval.

The production is presented by ATG Productions, Gavin Kalin Productions, Casey, CTK Enterprises and LPO.
