Inside No 9 stage show with Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith confirms tour cast

Exclusive: The full cast joining Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith on the upcoming UK tour of Inside No 9 has been revealed.

Being described as “great, all-encompassing fun,” the stage version of their award-winning television comedy played a successful season in London’s West End earlier this year.

Pemberton and Shearsmith will star in the show’s tour, which blends original material with familiar characters from the series.

Joining them on tour and reprising their West End roles are Rebecca Bainbridge, Mark Extance, Gaby French, Miranda Hennessy, Bhav Joshi and Toby Manley. Sarah Moyle and Sophie Suddaby complete the cast.

Similar to the West End season, the tour will also see surprise guest stars appear at every performance.

Kicking off in Milton Keynes on 9 September, Inside No 9 Stage/Fright visits 11 theatres across the UK, ending in Edinburgh in late November – you can see the full set of already revealed dates here.

Simon Evans directs the tour, with associate director David Frias-Robles, set designer Grace Smart, costume designer Yves Barre, lighting designer Neil Austin, sound designer Ed Lewis, choreographer Nicola Keen, illusionist John Bulleid, video and projection by Duncan McLean and special effects by Dan Martin and Ryan O’Connor. Bethan Clark is the fight director, Christian Henson and Ed Lewis are composers, and Anna Cooper is casting director. Inside No 9 Stage/Fright is presented by Phil McIntyre Live and IN9 Theatre Company.
