The Critics' Circle Awards took place in London at the Prince of Wales Theatre.
Recipients included Judi Dench, who won best Shakespearean performance for her turn as Paulina in The Winter's Tale. Kenneth Cranham took home best actor award for The Father and Denise Gough picked up the best actress award for People, Places and Things.
Bend It Like Beckham won best musical, while Robert Icke took home the award for best director.
