Heathers The Musical is set to return to London this summer ahead of a UK and Ireland tour.

Based on the 1989 film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, the show, penned by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe, first premiered in Los Angeles in 2013 before transferring to New York’s New World Stages in 2014. A revised version opened in London in 2018, featuring new material that has since been incorporated into the current New York production.

The musical has played three West End runs and three UK and Ireland tours to date, winning Best New Musical at the WhatsOnStage Awards in 2019. It was also filmed for streaming on the Roku Channel in 2022.

The show is directed by Andy Fickman, with choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell, sound by Dan Samson and musical supervision by Jeremy Wootton and Will Joy.

Heathers will be the first production to open the Arts at Marble Arch. The new theatre has a 594-seat capacity and is the Art’s Theatre’s temporary home. The musical will play 52 performances from 9 July to 22 August.

After that, a tour will open in Windsor – with complete dates revealed today.

Tickets for the London run are on sale from 10am on Monday 18 May.
