Stephen Wight will play the title role in the production at St James Theatre
Glee star Dianna Agron will make her British stage debut in the upcoming Alexander McQueen bio-play at St James Theatre, which opens on 12 May.
Agron will play Dahlia in James Phillips's McQueen, which is directed by John Caird. Stephen Wight (The Habit of Art, The Ladykillers, Bluestone 42) will take on the title role in the production.
The cast also features Tracy-Ann Oberman as Isabella Blow, Laura Rees as Arabella, David Shaw-Parker as John Hitchcock, along with Sophie Apollonia, Amber Doyle, George Hill, Eloise Hymas, Jordan Kennedy, Rachel Louisa Maybank and Carrie Willis.
McQueen was a multi-award winning designer known for ground-breaking fashion that made him a global icon. He committed suicide at his London home in 2010.
The action of the play centres on a girl who breaks into McQueen's Mayfair house to steal a dress, leading to a life-changing encounter with the designer.
McQueen runs at St James Theatre from 12 May to 6 June 2015
