Jonathan Coy, Vera Chok, Damien Molony, Lucy Robinson and Parth Thakerar will join Olivia Vinall in Tom Stoppard's new play The Hard Problem, according to the Daily Mail.

The play – Stoppard's first since Rock 'n' Roll in 2006 – is directed at the National Theatre by outgoing artistic director Nicholas Hytner and opens in the new NT Dorfman early next year (date tbc).

Vinall has previously appeared at the National in King Lear and Othello, while Coy's NT credits include The Magistrate, The Power of Yes and Democracy.

The Mail's Baz Bambigboye also reveals that Indira Varma, recently seen on stage in the Globe's gory Titus Andronicus, will star opposite Ralph Fiennes in George Bernard Shaw's Man And Superman, which opens in the NT Lyttelton in February, directed by Simon Godwin.

Further casting for both these productions will be announced soon.
