The musical receives its UK premiere in October
Final casting has been announced for the UK premiere of Side Show, which opens at Southwark Playhouse next month.
Joining the previously announced Louise Dearman and Laura Pitt-Pulford are Haydn Oakley (Sunset Boulevard), Jay Marsh (Sunny Afternoon), Dominic Hodson (War Horse), Christopher Howell (Guys and Dolls), Lala Barlow (Hair), Oliver Marshall (Company), David Muscat (Billy Elliot), Nuwan Hugh Perera (professional debut), Agnes Pure (Sinatra and Friends), Nuno Queimado (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown), Kirstie Skivington (West Side Story) and Genevieve Taylor (Cool Rider)
Featuring a score by Dreamgirls composer Henry Krieger and lyrics by Bill Russell, the 1997 musical is inspired by the true story of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton (Dearman and Pitt-Pulford) who make ends meet playing a headline act at a seedy side show. When spotted by a talent agent, they find fame and soon become the highest paid vaudeville stars of their time.
The production will be directed by Hannah Chissick with choreography by Matthew Cole, design by takis and sound design by Dan Simpson.
Side Show runs at Southwark Playhouse from 26 October to 3 December.
