The hit Broadway production of Frozen is due to arrive in the UK in autumn 2020, and in the video below, director Michael Grandage and the creative team divulge some of the secrets behind making the spectacular show.

An adaptation of Disney's animated film, Frozen will reopen the recently closed Theatre Royal Drury Lane, which is undergoing a £45 million refurbishment and renovation project.

Directed by Grandage, the production has set and costume designs by Christopher Oram, lighting design by Natasha Katz, and choreography by Rob Ashford. Sound design is by Peter Hylenski, video design by Finn Ross, puppet design by Michael Curry, and musical supervision and arrangements by Stephen Oremus.

Music and lyrics for the musical are from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and the piece has book by Jennifer Lee.

Produced by Disney Theatrical Productions, the show originally opened on Broadway in March 2018 and was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Musical.

As well as the London production, there is also a North America tour planned for autumn 2019 and productions opening in Australia and Hamburg in 2021.

Dates, casting and performance schedule are yet to be announced, but eager fans can already sign up for priority booking.
