New musical The Clockmaker's Daughter will be releasing a cast recording this month and a new track, "The Turning of the Key" has been released.

Michael Webborn and Daniel Finn's folk musical, which premiered at the Landor Theatre in 2015, tells of the traditions of the fictional Irish town of Spindlewood and covers themes of prejudice, discrimination and the fear of the unknown.

The musical album was announced in July 2018, and will be released to download and purchase on 14 February 2019. It features Ramin Karimloo (Phantom of the Opera), Christine Allado (Hamilton) and Fra Fee (The Ferryman), who sings the track below.

The ensemble featured in the recording is composed of Seán Carey, Rebecca Gilliland, Caroline Kay, Barry Keenan, Matthew McCabe, Alan McHale, Leah Pinney and Emma Warren.
