Exclusive: Initial casting announced for Rocky Horror sequel
Julie Atherton and Rosanna Hyland are leading the cast of ”Shock Treatment” at the King’s Head Theatre

Initial casting has been announced for the forthcoming Rocky Horror Show sequel Shock Treatment at the King's Head Theatre.
Julie Atherton (Avenue Q, Sister Act, Therese Raquin) will play Janet in the production, which runs from 17 April to 9 May, and Rosanna Hyland (Urinetown) will play Betty Hapschatt, the role played in the 1981 film version by Ruby Wax.
Featuring several of the original Rocky Horror characters, Shock Treatment has music and lyrics by Richard Hartley and Richard O'Brien and is receiving its stage premiere at the King's Head Theatre.
It is directed by Benji Sperring, artistic director of Tarquin Productions.
As previously announced, The Rocky Horror Show is embarking on a new tour, opening at Theatre Royal Brighton in December 2015.
