A decade after he made his West End debut in Defending the Caveman, Australian comedian and television presenter Mark Little is currently reprising Defending the Caveman at the 400-seat Leicester Square Theatre (formerly The Venue) – and he just can’t seem to get enough of the Olivier Award-winning one-man comedy, which he hopes will become a more permanent fixture in London.

Speaking to Whatsonstage.com (See Today’s Interview), Little reveals: “The plan after this season is to go back on the road and then come back again to Leicester Square to make that the home of Defending the Caveman in London. So we could be at it for another couple of years now.”

Defending the Caveman won an Olivier for Best Entertainment for its first West End season, in 1999-2000, and has extended until 5 April at the Leicester Square Theatre, after which it embarks on a three-month regional tour, concluding in Coventry on 8 July. August back in the capital then?
