Full casting has been announced for Nina Raine’s show, which transfers from the National Theatre into the West End
The full cast has been announced for the West End transfer of Nina Raine's Consent, which originally ran at the National Theatre in 2017.
Clare Foster (Travesties, Merrily We Roll Along), Lee Ingleby (The Pillowman) and Thusitha Jayasundera (The Divide) join the previously announced cast of the show in the production, which opens at the end of May. The remainder of the cast for the show is composed of Claudie Blakley, Stephen Campbell Moore, Heather Craney and Adam James.
Raine's piece examines the justice system and the modern portrayal of consent. When it originally opened at the National, WhatsOnStage's Daisy Bowie-Sell said "Raine's writing crackles with a sharp-tongued and witty energy".
Directed by Roger Michell and originally co-produced and commissioned by Out of Joint, the play has set by Hildegard Bechtler, costumes by Dinah Collin, lighting by Rick Fisher, music by Kate Whitley, sound by John Leonard and Sarah Weltman with casting by Amy Ball.
