Phil Daniels, Nathaniel Parker and Steffan Rhodri will join the transfer of James Graham’s acclaimed play
Casting has been announced for the West End run and Chichester Festival Theatre run of James Graham's play This House.
Nathaniel Parker will play Jack Weatherill, while Steffan Rhodri plays Walter Harrison and Phil Daniels plays Bob Mellish.
The rest of the new cast are Kevin Doyle as Michael Cocks, Malcolm Sinclair plays Humphrey Atkins, Sarah Woodward plays Lady Batley. Returning performers are David Hounslow as Joe Harper, Ed Hughes as Fred Silvester and Lauren O’Neil as Ann Taylor.
Completing the cast are Christopher Godwin, Peter Landi, Matthew Pidgeon, Tony Turner, Giles Taylor and Orlando Wells.
Graham's play is directed by Jeremy Herrin and opens at the Garrick Theatre on 30 November. The piece is set in 1974 while the UK was faced with economic crisis and a hung parliament.
This House originally opened at the National Theatre in 2012.
This House runs at Chichester's Minerva Theatre from 23 September to 29 October and then the Garrick Theatre from 30 November to 25 February 2017, with previews from 19 November.
