Casting has been set for Gigglemug Theatre’s A Jaffa Cake Musical.
The musical, inspired by the 1991 tribunal which determined the true identity of a Jaffa Cake, marks the company’s return to the Edinburgh Fringe following a premiere last year.
Also returning to the production are the show’s writer, Sam Cochrane (as Kevin), Sabrina Messer (Katherine), Alex Prescot (Judge), as well as Katie Pritchard (Tax Man) and Harry Miller (Jake).
Completing the cast are Toby De Salis, Emily Kitchingham, and Alexander Jude, who will be stepping in for the Bath previews.
The family-friendly comedy is directed by Ali James, with musical direction and arrangements by Rob Gathercole.
It’ll preview at the Mission Theatre in Bath on 24 and 25 July, before playing at Pleasance Courtyard in Edinburgh from 30 July to 25 August.
