The highly anticipated production of Hamlet at the Barbican next year starring Benedict Cumberbatch will have 100 seats per performance priced at £10.

More information on these seats will be released "in 2015", according to the Barbican's dedicated microsite for the production.

The majority of tickets will be priced between £30 and £62.50, before booking fees, with a limited number of premium seats also available.

As previously reported, the Barbican is taking measures to ensure that tickets aren't resold at inflated prices by limiting purchases to six per household and requiring photo ID on collection.

Tickets go onsale to 'red' members this Friday, 1 August, at 10am and 'orange' members on 4 August. General release is 11 August, and the venue will set up extra servers to cope with expected demand.

Hamlet is directed by Lyndsey Turner and runs from 6 August to 31 October 2015. Further casting is still to be announced.
