Alice in Wonderland will return for a new season in London.
The kaleidoscopic classic, involving a young girl who falls into a rabbit hole of surreality and intrigue, is directed and designed by Nate Bertone.
Using original music and puppetry to bring Carroll’s characters and Alice’s caper to life, the production was first seen in Australia in 2016 and has played to 100,000 audience members since its inception.
Penny Farrow’s adaptation of the Lewis Carroll favourite premiered in the UK at the Marylebone Theatre and recently played an Easter season at Riverside Studios. It is suitable for audiences aged five and over and has a running time of one hour.
The production will return to Riverside Studios from 16 July to 2 August before moving to Soho Theatre Walthamstow from 5 to 16 August.
Alice in Wonderland is produced by Ethan Walker for Broadway Haus, DEM Productions, and Nate Bertone. Cast and creative team are to be announced.
