Cast joining Tom Hiddleston in Betrayal in the West End has been announced.

Zawe Ashton, who appeared in director Jamie Lloyd's production of The Maids at Trafalgar Studios, will be joined by Charlie Cox (Marvel's Daredevil in Daredevil and The Defenders) in the show, which opens on 5 March. Cox previously appeared in the 2008 production of Pinter's The Lover and The Collection at the Harold Pinter Theatre (then the Comedy Theatre), which was also directed by Lloyd.

Ashton said: "I'm so thrilled to be part of the journey into the heart of one of Harold Pinter's most personal pieces of work. As a longtime collaborator of Jamie Lloyd, it's so exciting to be rounding off such an epic season of Pinter's work." Ashton will play Emma and Cox will play Jerry in the show.

Cox said: "It feels particularly fitting and special to be working with Jamie on another Pinter play, as our production of The Lover and The Collection in 2008 was amongst the last projects that Harold himself was personally involved with."

The pair joins the award-winning Hiddleston in the piece, which is about a turbulent seven-year romance. Betrayal is the final show in the Pinter at the Pinter season, which is currently running in the West End and marks ten years since Harold Pinter died.

Betrayal runs from 5 March until 1 June and tickets are on sale now.
