Russell Tovey and Hayley Squires on Harold Pinter: 'He's a contemporary Shakespeare'
The pair are appearing in the new Pinter season in the West End
Russell Tovey and Hayley Squires are two of the actors appearing in the ambitious Pinter at the Pinter season, which sees 20 of Pinter's one-act plays staged across a six month period, featuring all-star casts.
Overseen by director Jamie Lloyd, the season has its official opening this week, with Pinter One, composed of four Pinter pieces, and Pinter Two composed of a duo of shows, kicking off proceedings.
Appearing in Pinter Two, Tovey and Squires explained more about the event, why Pinter is so relevant and what audiences can expect when they book to see the shows.
Later in the season, actors such as Tamsin Greig, Martin Freeman, Meera Syal and Danny Dyer will all come to the Harold Pinter Theatre to appear in the shows.
