Death of a Salesman at the Young Vic full cast announced joining Sharon D Clarke and Wendell Pierce

The show will be co-directed by Marianne Elliott at the Young Vic

Full casting has been announced for the upcoming production of Death of a Salesman at the Young Vic.

Wendell Pierce, Sharon D Clarke and Arinzé Kene were already announced as appearing in the production. They will be joined by Ian Bonar (Bernard), Trevor Cooper (Charley), Martins Imhangbe (Happy Loman), Joseph Mydell (Ben Loman), Nenda Neurer (Letta), Jennifer Saayeng (Miss Forsythe), Matthew Seadon-Young (Howard Wagner and Stanley) and Maggie Service (The Woman and Jenny).

It has also been announced that Marianne Elliott is to co-direct the piece with Miranda Cromwell, who worked as associate director on Company and Angels in America.

The production opens in previews from 1 May and runs to 29 June with press night on 9 May.

Designs for Death of a Salesman are from Anna Fleischle with lighting by Aideen Malone, sound by Carolyn Downing and casting by Charlotte Sutton.

Arthur Miller's 1949 play follows the Loman family, headed up by Willy, who has been working as a salesman all his life.
