Photos have been released offering a first look at Caroline O'Connor and Gemma Sutton in the UK revival of The Rink, which opens at Southwark Playhouse this week.

The show is set on the east coast of the USA and follows an Italian housewife Anna (O'Connor), who is faced with the closure of her roller rink, and the return of her estranged daughter Angel (Sutton).

Directed by Adam Lenson, the piece has choreography by Fabian Aloise, musical direction by Joe Bunker, set design by Bec Chippendale, costume design by Libby Todd, lighting design by Matt Daw and sound deisgn by Mike Thacker for Orbital.

With a score by Kander and Ebb, known for the likes of Chicago and Cabaret, and a book by Terrence McNally (Ragtime), the musical comes to London for the first time in almost 20 years.
