Seann Miley Moore joins In the Willows UK tour as full cast announced

The full cast has been announced for the upcoming UK tour of new musical In The Willows.

A musical retelling of The Wind in the Willows, joining the cast will be The X Factor finalist Seann Miley Moore and Let It Shine performer Matt Knight, alongside the previously announced Clive Rowe as Mr Badger.

Also appearing will be deaf street dancer Chris Fonseca, with the musical incorporating BSL into the choreography to make the piece accessible for D/deaf and hearing audiences alike. There will be audio description available for all performances across the tour.

The full cast will be composed of Victoria Boyce (making her stage debut) as Mole, Abiola Efunshile (Hairspray) as Owl, Fonseca as Otter, The X Factor 2017 final dancer Treasure Iyamu as Twitchy Rabbit, Harry Jardine (A Midsummer Night's Dream) as Toad, Knight (Little Mermaid) as Chief Weasel, Zara Macintosh (Twelfth Night) as Rattie, Moore as Duck, Katherine Picar (Miss Saigon) as Bitchy Rabbit and Rowe as Badger.

The reimagined version of Kenneth Grahame's tale is written and directed by Poppy Burton-Morgan (Jungle Book), with music by Pippa Cleary (The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole) and Keiran Merrick. It has set and lighting design by William Reynolds, costume design by Ryan Dawson Laight and choreography from Rhimes Lecointe.

The tour starts in Exeter on 22 February before visiting Portsmouth, Coventry, Edinburgh, Keswick, Oxford, York, Malvern, Blackpool, Wimbledon, Hornchurch and Bristol, where the run concludes on 1 June.
