Lyn Gardner named as new tutor on writing MA at Drama Centre

Gardner has also been announced as the new associate editor of ”The Stage”

Lyn Gardner has been announced as a master on the MA Dramatic Writing course at Drama Centre London.

The theatre writer will look at how reviewing and arts journalism works in relation to writer training courses at the Drama Centre which is part of Central Saint Martins.

Yesterday, Gardner was announced as the new associate editor of The Stage, two months after her theatre blog was cut by the Guardian. She will write weekly columns and monthly features for The Stage whilst continuing her role as theatre critic for the Guardian.

Gardner will join other masters of the MA Dramatic Writing course including Lucy Kerbel, David Edgar and Ola Animashawun. Other masters joining the course will be artistic director of Boundless Theatre Rob Drummer, former artistic director of Soho Theatre Lisa Goldman, and BBC Radio Drama executive producer Marion Nancarrow.
