Robert Icke will also join new artistic director Rupert Goold as an associate at the Islington venue. Icke was previously an associate director at Headlong, where he worked with Goold on productions including Decade and Boys.
1984 is written and directed by Robert Icke and Duncan Macmillan, and features designs by Chloe Lamford, with lighting by Natasha Chivers, sound by Tom Gibbons and video by Tim Reid.
