Olivier nominations announced

Tuesday 11 March
Urinetown The Musical opens
One of the most anticipated musicals since The Book of Mormon, Urinetown has finally arrived in London. Directed by Jamie Lloyd and starring Richard Fleeshman and Jenna Russell, this satirical comedy set in a dystopian future is guaranteed to have you peeing with laughter.
Playing at the St James Theatre until 3 May 2014.
Wednesday 12 March
riverrun opens
Olwen Fouéré, one of Ireland’s leading theatre-makers, performs her acclaimed new adaptation of the voice of the river in James Joyce's Finnegans Wake. Described by The Irish Times as "A fearless plunge into pure performance."
Saturday 15 March
Jersey Boys opens at new venue
After six years at the Prince Edward theatre, hit musical Jersey Boys which charts the careers of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, moves on to make way for the arrival of Miss Saigon.
The show's new home is the Piccadilly Theatre where it is currently booking up to October 2014.
Sunday 16 March
West End Recast
The Duke of York's Theatre plays host to a night which allows stars of the West End a chance to perform songs from roles they have always wanted to sing but will never be cast in. The line-up includes Frances Ruffelle, Daniel Boys, Cynthia Erivo and Jenna Russell.
Anderson and Petty
WhatsOnStage Award nominees Willemijn Verkaik and Charlotte Wakefield are among the bevy of vocalists at a concert of songs by acclaimed transatlantic songwriting duo Anderson and Petty. The concert takes place at the St James Theatre Studio as part of the venue's season of "Cabaret Nights".
