Judi Dench, Mark Gatiss and Catherine Tate lead cast of Donmar's election play
James Graham's The Vote will be broadcast live on television on polling day
Actress and comedian Catherine Tate will play a poll worker in the production, which is culminating in a live broadcast on election day in association with Channel 4.
Featuring the largest ensemble of actors ever seen on the Donmar stage, the cast also includes: Fisayo Akinade, Madalena Alberto, Jade Anouka, Nicholas Burns, Paul Chahidi, Jackie Clune, Pandora Colin, Rosalie Craig, Heather Craney, Rachel Denning, Hadley Fraser, Llewella Gideon, Alice Hewkin, Kadiff Kirwan, Aicha Kossoko, Wanda Opalinska, Bill Paterson, Prasanna Puwanarajah, Nina Sosanya, Yusra Warsama, Timothy West and Dench's daughter Finty Williams.
Director Josie Rourke told The Guardian: "Some of the nation's greatest actors are coming together this election night to give theatre a seat at the table of a national event. Everyone involved is approaching this experiment with a sense of adventure."
All tickets for the production are being released in a ballot that opens on 30 March.
