River Medway

River Medway is a British drag performer who gained prominence on the third series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK in 2021. Her performance included a memorable runway inspired by Thomas Fletcher Waghorn and a heartfelt discussion about her mother’s passing due to COVID-19.

After her double elimination in episode six, she joined the official UK tour with her fellow cast members. River’s stage career expanded with roles in ‘Death Drop: Back in the Habit’ and as Ariel in ‘Unfortunate: The Untold Story of Ursula the Sea Witch’.

In 2024, she was cast as Jem in ‘Here & Now’, a Steps jukebox musical, and served as Mistress of Ceremonies in ‘House of Cleopatra’ at the Edinburgh Fringe
