Neil McDermott

Neil McDermott (born 15 December 1980) is an English stage and television actor, best known for portraying Ryan Malloy in the BBC soap opera EastEnders.

Notable stage credits include:

• The Sound of Music (London Palladium) – Played Rolf Gruber, and later played Captain von Trapp on a UK national tour.
• Shrek the Musical (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) – Portrayed Lord Farquaad from 2012 to 2013.
• La Cage aux Folles (Menier Chocolate Factory) – Played Jean-Michel.
• The Wind in the Willows (London Palladium) – Played the Chief Weasel.
• Additional stage roles in productions including Pretty Woman, Home, I’m Darling, Pride and Prejudice, Eugenius!, and Oliver!.
