The Hunger Games stage show announces new casting

The show continues at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre

The Hunger Games stage show has announced a new cast for the production as it enters its second year at the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre.

Starting Friday 23 October 2026, the company will feature Elizabeth Anderson as Katniss Everdeen, Vinnie Copeland as Peeta Mellark, Nathan Stokes as Gale Hawthorne, Daisy Statham as Prim, Alix Dunmore as Mrs Everdeen, Isabel Della-Porta as Effie Trinket and Theo Ogundipe as Cinna. Neil McDermott will play Haymitch Abernathy, while Daniel Brocklebank joins the cast as Caesar Flickerman. John Malkovich continues in the role of President Snow on screen.

The company is completed by returning members Aiya Agustin, Geo Bailey, Alexandra Barredo, Jessica Daugirda and Luca Moscardini, alongside new cast members Jason Battersby, Jesse Chidera, Elliot Copeland, Myla Carmen, Archie Durrant, Xanthe Gibson, Maria Goodman, Joseph Lukehurst, Montel Morrison, Jhanaica van Mook, Lewis Renninson, Florence Russell, Jake Scott Newton, Emma Shannon, Hamish Skeoch and Rhodri Watkins.

The final performance for the current cast takes place on Monday 18 October 2026.

Adapted by Conor McPherson from Suzanne Collins’ book and the film of the same name, the stage adaptation is directed by Matthew Dunster. The creative team includes set designer Miriam Buether, choreographer Charlotte Broom, lighting designer Lucy Carter, sound designer Ian Dickinson for Autograph, video designer Tal Rosner, illusionist Chris Fisher, fight director Kev McCurdy, performer flying and special effects designer John Maddox, arranger, musical director and composer James Maloney, casting director Amy Ball, associate director James Robert Moore, creative assistant director Robyn Grant, props supervisor Mary Halliday, hair and make-up designer JJ Wigs, costume designer Tom Silverwood, creative consultant Jenefer Brown, technical director Lloyd Thomas, production manager Josh Collins, voice coach Liz Flint and dialect coach Aundrea Fudge.

The Hunger Games: On Stage is currently booking at the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre through to 14 February 2027.
