Elena Urioste and Tom Poster

A relaxing late-afternoon recital of elegant chamber music performed by violinist Elena Urioste and pianist Tom Poster. Elena and Tom begin with the beautiful Violin Sonata of Luise Adolpha Le Beau, 19th-century champion of equal opportunities for female musicians. Followed by a series of miniatures of varying styles and colours by Fritz Kreisler. The concert concludes with the lyrical beauty of Strauss’ Violin Sonata, an expression of a newly dawned love.
