National Theatre 2027 Season
Indhu Rubasingham’s newest season at the National Theatre!
The show makes an eagerly anticipated return to London

A revival of West Side Story will run at the National Theatre in autumn 2027.
The production will be co-directed by Marianne Elliott and Miranda Cromwell, who previously collaborated on Death of a Salesman at the Young Vic, in the West End and on Broadway.
Jerome Robbins’ choreography for the musical will be reproduced and adapted for the stage by performer and choreographer Julio Monge.
Featuring music by Leonard Bernstein, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by Arthur Laurents, the show premiered on Broadway in 1957 before opening in London at the Her Majesty’s Theatre in 1958.
Casting, dates and ticket information will be announced by the venue in due course.
The production was teased in a casting call issued earlier this year.
