Wallace and Gromit musical, Complicité and more announced in Pleasance Edinburgh Festival line-up

A final round of Pleasance shows has been announced for the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe.
Theatre company Complicité will present brand new show I'll Take You To Mrs Cole!, based on Nigel Gray and Michael Foreman's 1985 children's book, with an original ska soundtrack and video animation.
The Wardrobe Ensemble will return to the Edinburgh Fringe for the world premiere of The Last of the Pelican Daughters, about young people grappling with inheritance and loss. Carlos Acosta's company Acosta Danza will present the world premiere of Cuban dance show Havana After Dark, celebrating the 500-year anniversary of Havana alongside a seven-piece salsa band.
There will be a performance of the family-friendly Wallace and Gromit musical (called, aptly, Wallace and Gromit's Marvellous Musical) about Wallace wanting to stage his own concerto.
Award-winning artists returning to the Fringe include Smoke and Oakum with Such Filthy F*cks, Richard Marsh with new musical comedy Phoenix, In Bed With My Brother with Tricky Second Album, while David Benson will return with his first solo show since 1996, and there will be a new staging of 2018 Fringe First-winning The Archive of Educated Hearts.
Lucy McCormick will return to the Fringe with Post Popular, a play about power through history, following her hit Triple Threat, while Amy Booth-Steel, known for her viral Twitter videos, will present #HonestAmy, directed by Kathy Burke.
The Trojan Women Project will provide a platform for Syrian refugees in The Trojans (based on the works of Euripedes) while David Finnigan will present You're Safe Til 2024. Lion House Theatre will premiere the off-the-wall reimagining of Moby Dick entitled The Wild Unfeeling World, and The North Wall will dissect the flawed education system in E8.
Comedy offerings at the Pleasance include Spencer Jones, Nina Conti, Matt Forde and Rose Matafeo.
