Following its acclaimed runs at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014 and Vault Festival last year, Dawn State Theatre Company's The Man Who Would Be King is to embark on a UK tour.

The adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's novella tells the story of two soldiers that journey to Afghanistan with the intention of befriending and ruling the unsuspecting locals.

Christopher Birks and Dan Nicholson reprise their roles in Dan Coleman‘s production.

The tour commences at Greenwich Theatre on 20 September, before continuing to Wigtown, Croydon, Hemel Hempstead, Hounslow, Canterbury, Bedford, Carlisle, Leeds, Clapham, Colchester, Stamford, Leicester and Cheltenham.
