If you are attending the theatre either today (Monday 6 September 2010) or tomorrow (Tuesday 7 September), be aware that, due to planned industrial strike action on the London Underground Network, transport will be severely disrupted with most Tube lines and stations not operational.

All major London theatres are planning to operate as normal, with no ticket refunds and/or exchanges being offered. This includes Sadler’s Wells and our Whatsonstage.com Outing there tonight to the world premiere production of Shoes.

Train, bus and river services are expected to operate as normal, but with the disruption to the Tube, these services will become very busy. Please allow extra time to travel to a theatre when using bus or other public transport in the London area.

You can keep up to date on the latest news on the industrial action via Transport for London’s “strike page” at www.tfl.gov.uk.
