The production, which premiered at the National Theatre in 2013, featured music and lyrics by Amos and book and lyrics by Samuel Adamson.
Billed as "a dark fairytale about grief, rebellion and the power of love", the original cast included Rosalie Craig as Althea, the titular princess, opposite Nick Hendrix as Digby, a neighbouring Prince.
The Light Princess received a four star review from Michael Coveney, who called the production a "delightful and unusual surprise". You can read the full review here.
The announcement follows other shows to release cast recordings including Made in Dagenham and Gypsy. Amos' production is rumoured to be going to Broadway.
