The full cast joining Gemma Sutton (The Rink) in Sweet Charity has been announced.

The Watermill version, which is performed by actor-musicians, brings Neil Simon, Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields' piece up-to-date, with an onstage musical director featured in the production. It is directed by Paul Hart, and has choreography by Tom Jackson Greaves.

The 1966 musical is based on a black-and-white Fellini film Nights of Cabiria and tells of the romantic ups and downs of a dancer-for-hire. It features numbers such as "Big Spender", "If My Friends Could See Me Now", "Rhythm of Life" and "I'm a Brass Band".

Joining Sutton in the show are Nicola Bryan (Carmen), Alex Cardall (Oscar), Vivien Carter (Nicky), Stacey Ghent (Rosie), Elliot Harper (Vittorio Vidal), Matthew James Hinchliffe (Daddy's Assistant), Samuel Morgan-Grahame (Herman), Emma-Jane Morton (Helene), Tomi Ogbaro (Daddy), Thomas Ping (Daddy's Assistant), Tom Self (onstage musical director) and Laura Sillett (Ursula).

Diego Pitarch will design the show with lighting design by Malcolm Rippeth, sound design by Tom Marshall and video projection design by Louise Rhoades-Brown.

The venue has had previous success with their actor-musician versions of musicals, with Crazy for You, starring Tom Chambers, touring the UK in 2017.
