Susie McKenna's 5 ingredients for the perfect panto

We sat down with director and actor Susie McKenna – who is currently at the helm of her 19th pantomime at the Hackney Empire – to find out her top five ingredients for the perfect panto.

Directed by, and starring McKenna, Cinderella features Aisha Jawando as Cinderella, alongside Tony Whittle and Kat B as the Ugly Sisters. Peter Straker as Baron Hardup and Darren Hart as Buttons.

Cinderella runs at Hackney Empire from 23 November to 31 December with previews from 18 November.
