Bryony Lavery’s play is celebrating its 20th birthday with this new revival in the West End
Photos have been released showing the cast of Frozen onstage ahead of the show's opening in the West End.
Directed by Jonathan Munby, Bryony Lavery's piece follows Nancy, a woman whose daughter is abducted and murdered by a paedophile, Ralph. The show originally opened at the Birmingham Rep in 1998, and now celebrates its 20th anniversary with this production.
The production stars Suranne Jones (Doctor Foster) as Nancy and Jason Watkins (Being Human) as Ralph alongside Nina Sosanya (W1A) as Agnetha, an expert tasked with analysing Ralph's behaviour.
The show was revived at the National in 2002 and was nominated for a Tony Award in 2004.
Lavery's week is a busy one, as her new adaptation of Graham Greene's Brighton Rock will open at Theatre Royal York tomorrow.
Frozen runs at Theatre Royal Haymarket until 5 May.
