
Full casting has been set for the upcoming tour of the new musical Here and Now.
Featuring the songs of hit UK pop group Steps, it will tour the UK and Ireland from August 2025 to May 2026.
Last year, it enjoyed a record-breaking world premiere run at the Alexandra in Birmingham, where it was described in the WhatsOnStage review as being “foot kickin’, finger clickin’, leather slapping, hand clappin’.”
Set in a seaside superstore, the musical explores themes of love and betrayal. Written by Shaun Kitchener and featuring Steps’ well-known hits such as “Tragedy”, “Stomp”, “5,6,7,8”, and “One for Sorrow”, the show is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh and choreographed by Matt Cole.
As already confirmed, returning to the show are Rebecca Lock as Caz, Finty Williams as Patricia, Blake Patrick Anderson as Robbie, River Medway as Jem, Edward Baker Duly as Max, and John Stacey as Lesley.
New additions to the cast include Jacqui Dubois as Vel, Chris Grahamson as Gareth, and Rosie Singha as Neeta.
Confirmed now, Ben Darcy will play Ben and Lauren Woolf will play Tracey.
The cast is completed by Georgia Christofi (professional debut), Kade Ferraiolo (I Should Be So Lucky), Albert Green (The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole), Harry Jack (Les Misérables), Casey Jay (Grease), Charlie-Jay Johnson (Here and Now), Rosemary Annabella Nkrumah (Mamma Mia! The Party), Dean Rickards (professional debut), Markus Södergren (Here and Now), Genevieve Taylor (Wicked) and Jessica Vaux (Starlight Express).
Musical supervision, orchestrations and arrangements are by Matt Spencer-Smith, set design by Tom Rogers, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Howard Hudson, sound design by Adam Fisher, wigs, hair and make-up design by Sam Cox, casting by Will Burton for Grindrod Burton Casting, Music Technology by Phij Adams with production management by Setting Line.
Lock and Williams are only due to appear until November 2025.
