Pitlochry Festival Theatre will stage the world première of I’ll Be Seeing You.

Penned by Martin Sherman and running from 12 September to 11 October in the venue’s studio, the production will be directed by Alan Cumming and designed by Tim Hatley.

The cast will include Simon Russell Beale and Fra Fee, while Sherman’s new play follows a young writer attempting to create a play about entertainer Liberace, who he believes concealed his true self behind performance and glamour.

It forms part of Alan Cumming’s first season as artistic director of Pitlochry Festival Theatre, with further cast and creative team members to be revealed in due course.
