Sally Field and Bill Pullman are to star in a new production of All My Sons at the Old Vic.

Directed by Jeremy Herrin, the piece is a co-production between Headlong and the Old Vic, and opens at the venue next spring.

Following the lives of Kate and Joe Keller, Miller's text is set in the 1940s and charts the rise and fall of a single family as their dreams fall apart.

Field, who is a two-time Academy Award-winner, was last seen on stage in The Glass Menagerie, while Pullman has been seen in film projects including The Battle of the Sexes and Independence Day.

Further casting and dates for the production are to be announced.
