Openings in Scotland over the next couple of weeks include a production of 2 Pianos 4 Hands, performed Katzenjammer. 2 Pianos 4 Hands is the story of Ted and Richard, two young prodigies, who share one goal: concert pianist stardom. The award-wining show has played in over 150 productions to 2 million people worldwide since its premiere in Canada in 1996. This production is co-presented by Perth Theatre and The King’s in Edinburgh.
Also in Edinburgh, the national tours of Oklahoma! and Spamalot reaches the Playhouse. Marcus Brigstocke and Amy Nutall star in the Python musical for its Edinburgh run. The stage adaptation of Lark Rise to Candleford plays at The King’s.
The Lyceum, utilising the same set and company of actors from their well-received production of Romeo & Juliet, present the perenniel Wilde favourite, The Importance of Being Earnest.
