The show runs next spring

A new musical, Rosie, will have its West End premiere at the Adelphi Theatre for a one-night-only gala performance on 17 March 2026.
The semi-staged performance will feature Lucy Thomas in the title role, with additional casting and creative team details to be announced. The production is presented by Cavendish Productions, Paul Morrissey Ltd and Darren Bell Productions.
Rosie tells the true story of Rosie Boote, who grew up in a convent in Ireland before pursuing her ambition to become a performer on the Edwardian West End stage. The musical features an original score and lyrics by Chris Broom.
A studio cast album of Rosie was released in 2024 and went on to receive multiple international songwriting awards. Tunes from the show include “Starlight”, “Suddenly” and “Broken Dreams”.
Broom, who also founded Cavendish Records, has previously written for artists including Jonathan Antoine, Alessandra Paonessa and Natalia Krishtopets. Cavendish Productions was formed to expand the company’s stage work and previously presented a showcase of Rosie as part of a Lucy Thomas concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Rosie will be performed at 7:30pm on Tuesday 17 March 2026 at the Adelphi Theatre, London.
