The New Diorama Theatre in north London has announced two new shows for its autumn 2025 season.

Ephemeral Ensemble will return to the venue with Uprooted, following the success of Rewind. The production draws on the voices of displaced communities and environmental defenders in Latin America, using physical theatre and music to explore the impact of colonial capitalism and the fight for survival.

Timelapse will present Precipice, a new musical set across two timelines linked by a biomedical disaster and rising sea levels. The piece combines an electro-folk score with a story that connects past mistakes with future consequences. The musical was developed during the venue’s Intervention01 programme after the pandemic, which supported new collaborative work.

The show has been created by Stu Barter, Rachel Bellman, Darren Clark, Annabelle Lee Revak, Shaye Poulton Richards and Timelapse artistic director Adam Lenson.

The New Diorama Theatre continues to be run by head of programming Emma Clark with co-CEOs Sophie Wallis and Jonathan Maydew-Gale.

Uprooted runs from 23 September to 25 October. Precipice runs from 11 November to 13 December. Tickets are on sale now.
