The breadth of the National Theatre at Home catalogue means there is something for every mood. A curated winter schedule

As we move into February, you can celebrate Valentine’s weekend with the intoxicating chemistry of Lucy Prebble’s The Effect, or gather the whole family during the mid-term break for the visual spectacle and spellbinding puppetry of the award-winning Life of Pi.

For those seeking a fresh experience, the digital premiere of Nima Taleghani’s version of Bacchae offers a bold reimagining of Greek tragedy that demands to be seen – especially when the premiere on 6 February will be accompanied by a Q&A from Artistic Director Indhu Rubasingham, answering questions about her production, submitted by subscribers!

The ultimate night in

On the nights when you might not be venturing to your local venue, National Theatre at Home allows you to discover the world of theatre right where you are. All you need is a comfortable seat and a spare few hours to immerse yourself in stories that challenge, entertain, and inspire.

The schedule for the following weeks is as follows:

Friday 30 January – The Deep Blue Sea with Helen McCrory
Friday 6 February – Bacchae (Digital Premiere) – Indhu Rubasingham’s directorial debut as artistic director of the National Theatre
