Jemma Kennedy’s play had its opening night in north London last night
Jemma Kennedy's Genesis Inc had its world premiere last night at north London's Hampstead Theatre.
Guests including Miriam Margolyes, Jenni Murray and Claire Skinner attended the opening of the play, which stars Harry Enfield (who makes his Hampstead Theatre debut in the production) and Arthur Darvill.
Kennedy's piece explores the modern world of fertility, with a number of interwoven and surreal plot threads. In his four-star review of the show, WhatsOnStage critic Alun Hood said the piece was "a satisfying, enjoyable night at the theatre".
Genesis Inc has design by Jess Curtis, lighting by Oliver Fenwick, composition by Zara Nunn, sound by Gareth Fry, video by Ian William Galloway and movement by Georgina Lamb.
