”The Hobbit” actor is rumoured to be joining the cast for their ”Miss Saigon” section
It is anticipated that stage and screen star Luke Evans will make his first appearance on the West End stage since 2008 next Sunday (2 March 2014), when he takes part in You'll Never Walk Alone at the Queen's Theatre, a one-night-only gala in aid of the Philippines Typhoon Appeal.
Whilst his participation can't be confirmed at this point due to prior commitments, there are plans for Evans to perform during a section of the gala celebrating Boublil and Schönberg's Miss Saigon.
Evans is known to theatre audiences for his roles in productions including Piaf, Rent, Avenue Q and Miss Saigon.
He has since gone on to star in Hollywood films including Tamara Drewe, Fast and Furious 6, The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug and The Three Musketeers. He is also in upcoming films Dracula Untold and the final installment of The Hobbit trilogy.
