The award-winning performer will be making her London debut
Laura Benanti will perform a solo concert at Cadogan Hall in 2019.
The Tony Award-winning performer will be making her London debut in the concert at the venue, with the show produced by Club 11 London and Brian Zeilinger and Jack Maple for Take-Two Theatricals.
Benanti recently returned to Broadway earlier this year playing Eliza Doolittle in Lincoln Center's revival of My Fair Lady, directed by Bartlett Sher. The show is currently running until February 2019. Other credits include starring opposite Amy Schumer in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower and She Loves Me on Broadway.
She won a Tony Award when she played Gypsy Rose Lee opposite Patti LuPone in Gypsy on Broadway in 2008. On television, Benanti regularly impersonates Melania Trump on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Speaking about the concerts, Benanti said: "I truly could not be more excited to perform in London for the first time this summer; It's been a bucket list item of mine for so long. And I've been practising my English accent for months now, thanks to My Fair Lady, so I can't wait to try it out on some real Brits! (Just kidding I promise not to do that.)"
It has been revealed that Benanti will also be joined by Bianca del Rio, who is currently starring in Everybody's Talking About Jamie in the West End.
