Production photos of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl have been released.

Cynthia Erivo led the outdoor production as Jesus, alongside Adam Lambert as Judas in the Tim Rice-Andrew Lloyd Webber hit musical.

Directed and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, with Stephen Oremus as musical director and conductor, the production ran from 1 to 3 August.

It was described by our reviewer as “an engrossingly acted, star-studded concert,” saying, “Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hollywood Bowl gives the audience what they want, and more. What a party.”

The company included Ian Ward, Joey Taranto, Clinton Roane, LJ Benet, Cooper Clack and L. T. Martinez as the Apostles, Isaiah Bailey as the Priest, Brad Sharp as Apostle and Priest, John E Lucas as Priest, Summer Greer as Soul Singer, Oyoyo Joi and Krystle Rose Simmons as Apostles and Soul Singers, and Emily Goglia as Maid by the Fire.

The ensemble featured John Krause, Nathan Madden, Chris Hernandez, Morgan Marcell, Jennifer Florentino, Brandon Leffler, Damian Caraballo and Juliet Johnson, with pit singers Ayana Haviv, Gracie Laboy, Natalie Taylor, Mariah Meshae, Suzanne Waters and Sara Gomez.

Forming the creative team are scenic designer Jason Ardizzone-Westcostume designer Emilio Sosaprojection designer Peter Nigrini, lighting designers Tyler Lambert-Perkins and Tyler Glover, sound designer Jonathan Burke, and hair and makeup designer Brandi Strona.
